This is a beautiful map of NYC that I wish I had on my last trip. Instead of panning around google maps and wasting time looking for these landmarks, the map is an easy and streamlined reference to use. I certainly passed by many of these buildings without knowing!

The recommended route and legend showing the name, architect and address are very handy and the small depictions of each add some great detail.

Great visual reference overall! I will certainly be using it in my next trip to NYC in the spring.

I’m both an architect as well as a huge map nerd and on top of that, I love NYC. This map is perhaps the most concise and easily readable architectural guides to this incredible city that has tons of good architecture to see. The Avontuura map condenses the most important architectural works in a handy foldable map, that is easy to carry around on your walks in Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs. The colors, the building icons and the recommended routes… it makes not just a great guide but also a souvenir.

I wish I had this amazing map of NYC on my last trip to New York. Integrating it with my usual Google Maps lists, I could have effortlessly unfolded the convenient map, identified my favourite architectural spots, and planned my trip around these attractions. As an architect, I appreciate Avontuura and Karl van Es for creating such user-friendly and visually appealing maps. They streamline the process of locating significant architectural attractions in NYC, eliminating the need for numerous Google searches and list compilation. I eagerly anticipate utilizing maps from the series for my upcoming travels to cities covered within it.
